Thread: Frases español/ingles 5

Hola,

Aquí tengo algunas frases mas que he estado recopilando. Algunas de ellas ni siquiera lo he intentado, por que...no tengo ni idea. Hay otras mas faciles, pero las que estan en azul, son las que tengo mas duda o no tengo ni idea en su traducción.

“Estoy viendo que los alumnos se están aburriendo”
“I’m seen that the pupils is being bored”

“Me puedes pasar la tarjeta cuando termines. Me gustaría leer lo que la gente ha escrito”
“Could you pass me the card when you finish?. I’d like to see what the people has written on it”.

(Mi compañera de piso sacando una ticket o algo de la lavadora”
“Menos mal que no era una entrada para un concierto”
(ni idea)

“No sería una entrada para un concierto”
“Wouldn’t it be a ticket for a concert?”

“Esta mañana te he visto un poco cansado. Es por que has trabajado mucho?2
“This morning I have seen you a little tired. It’s because you have been working so much?”


“Estoy viendo como disfrazan a una profesora de gansters.”
“I’m looking how a teacher is being disguised as a gansters”

“Pensé que no había clase”
“I thought that there wasn’t class”

“¿Has estado en clase estos días atrás?”
“Have you been in class this days before?”

“Me tome un descanso, ya que estaban unos amigos mios que estaban visitando Londres, y me tome con ellos un par de cervezas. No me fui muy tarde a la cama.”
“I had a break, so a friends of mine who was visiting London, and I had with them a pair of beers. I didn’t go so late to bed”.

“Quería cargar la tarjeta con un mes y solo para usar en el autobus”
“I’d want to recharge the card (Oyster) with a month and only to use on bus.”

“No sé qué ejercicio estamos hacienda”
“I don’t know what exercise we are doing.”
“Se van intercambiando los días.”
(ni idea)

“Se levanto de la silla y se fue de la habitación.”
“He stand up from the chair and went out the room”

“Cuando este en España me comprare unos zapatos.”
“When I am in Spain I will buy a shoes.”

“Estaba bebiendo agua cuando me miro.”
“She was drinking water as she stared me.”

“Lo que tienes que hacer es maximizar. Cada vez que muevas, tienes que comerme las más piezas posibles y preservas las tuyas.”
“What you have to do is maximize. Each time you move, you have to kill the most pieces you can and keep safe yours.”


“Tu tendrás una llamada perdida mia”
“You must have a missed call from me.”

Riper, I can see that you communicate well in English and that people would have little trouble understanding you. I have written a few suggestions for you below. Be careful with singular/plural agreement and remember that questions in English generally start with a verb or auxiliary verb.

I see that the students are getting bored.

My roommate is getting a ticket or something for the washing machine. At least it's not a ticket for a concert.

“No sería una entrada para un concierto”
“Wouldn’t it be a ticket for a concert?” Good!

“Esta mañana te he visto un poco cansado. Es por que has trabajado mucho?2
“This morning I have seen you a little tired. It’s because you have been working so much?”
You look a little tired this morning. Is it because you've been working so much? (Start with a verb or aux verb to make a question in English.)

“I thought that there wasn’t class” Good!

“¿Has estado en clase estos días atrás?”
“Have you been in class this days before?”
Not sure of context but maybe: Have you been in this class before? Have you taken this class before?

“Me tome un descanso, ya que estaban unos amigos mios que estaban visitando Londres, y me tome con ellos un par de cervezas. No me fui muy tarde a la cama.”
“I had a break, so a friends of mine who was visiting London, and I had with them a pair of beers. I didn’t go so late to bed."
I took a break because some friends of mine were visiting London, and I had a couple of beers with them. I didn't go to bed very late.

Context? Maybe: They keep switching the days. or: They keep mixing up the days.

“Estaba bebiendo agua cuando me miro.”
