Newsletter - 'help your child by ...'
Here's what I would like help with translating.
You can help your children learn to appreciate mathematics by providing them with fun activities that will help your students enjoy math.
The part that confuses me is using the word by, it seems to me that por could be used, but it also seems like por can't be used. ...if that makes any sense.

Don't let 'by' confuse you. When translating into Spanish, there's no need to transalte word per word. The 'by' is eliminated and the verb remains by itself.
...aprender a apreciar las matemáticas, ofreciéndoles actividades que les ayudará...

Pueden ayudar a que sus hijos aprendan a valorar la matemática ofreciéndoles/brindándoles actividades divertidas que los ayudarán a disfrutarla.
you can also find another word for one of the "help"
