    Default Her / Hers

Hola, buenas. En la siguiente frase, ¿que se debería de usar "her" or "hers" (en negrita)?.

Particularmente me inclino por "hers" (pronombre posesivo)

"As I was walking along the street, I saw how she was having her breakfast in the restaurant. "I would like to have the same breakfast as hers", I thought. And after a few seconds, I was ordering that breakfast..."

    Gracias.

well, I think in this case both might be correct...

hers refers to "her breakfast, the meal".
her refers to "the woman doing the action"

ah! yes, I understand now. Depends on what you want to say.

Now I have it clearer about "hers or her".

    Thank you very much.
