    Default SUV's

    Hi everyone!
Would you say that the translation of SUV's into Spanish, "vehículos todo terreno" is correct?
And also, does anyone know what "dealer demos" are?
Thanks in advance for your help!

The use of SUV is very common for this kind of trucks, as a truck for the city. Fliers, TV commercials, manuals, etc. use this term, and I think if the manufacturer uses this acronym, it means it's the official word.

But you can use "todo terreno" in the same way. It depends on the distributor: Ford uses "todo terreno", General Motors uses SUV, and so on...

You could check the manufacturer and then visit the official page as in this examples.

I just visited the Chevrolet webpage, and the choice depends on the country. In Spain they call them "todoterrenos", in Argentina "4x4" and in Mexico "SUV".
Thank you for the useful tip, Julio!

    Default my guess would be...

that dealer demos are vehices sent to new car dealerships in order for the dealers to get acquainted with the vehicles they're supposed to sell. does it say anything about these dealer demos later being sold for slightly less than brand-new vehicles?

No, it says nothing about that. But now that I know what they are, are they the same as "test drives"?
