Thread: cheque guarantee card

Hello, a cheque guarantee card is a card some banks provide to some people to use it as a guarantee for their cheques. That is to say when the person pays to someone by cheque: 1-he shows the cheque guarantee card to the payee, 2-the payee examines the card, 3-the payee writes himself the number of the card on the back of the cheque, 4-the payer signs the cheque in presence of the payee, 5-the payee verifies the signature against the signature on the cheque guarantee card.
After this procedure the cheque cannot be stoped and the bank cannot refuse to pay. So it is guaranteed that the cheque will be paid.
