Hello, I received this line in a message, and I can't quite get the consentidora part. I would appreciate any help.
"que quiera que la mujer que este a su lado lo ame y lo consienta mucho, pues me encanta ser consentidora"

I guess shes happy to be single
Hello there!
Here's my try at translating, even though it's a bit hard without a context:
"(I hope) he wants that the woman who will be with him loves and spoils him, because I like spoiling others."
Hope it has been helpful =)
Consentir = to pamper
Malcriar = to spoil.
Hello, thanks for the response. The answer that eluded my basic Spanish was whether she was pamper others, or wanting to be pampered herself. I assume pjkeane assumed that she was wanting to be pampered herself. Is is it safe to conclude that she meant it in the other sense of pampering others?. Actually, this is a fairly important distinction LOL
sorry;
she means to pamper others
I'm pretty sure of that
Thanks Belfast. I really appreciate it.
you're welcome!!
happy to help

Well, I hope this still help because the sentence is a bit trickyOriginally Posted by oldmanrip
que quiera -> I wish that ( this is, she want I men that....)
"que la mujer que este a su lado lo ame y lo consienta mucho" -> the wish of her... In simple words: She wants a men who loves to be spoiled for his couple
"pues me encanta ser consentidora" -> because I (she) love to spoil her couple.
However, even for me this sentence is tricky (mother tongue is Spanish)
