    Default Visiting Translation?

Buenos dias a todos. I am going to Chile in a couple weeks and I'll be staying at my fiance's mother's house. I haven't met her yet, and she speaks very little English, if any. I was hoping to get some help with translating some useful phrases/questions that would be helpful during my stay...
Could someone tell me how you would say, or of similar context:
-It's so nice to finally meet you!
-I am told you're an artist, may I see some of your work?
-Is there anything I can help you with?
-Thank you for raising such a wonderful person... (awe)

Um..now I'm really nervous and I can't think of anything so say to her...lol
    Oh my....any ideas?
    Thanks so much.

I imagine how nervous you are!!

    Here is my humble contribution:

-It's so nice to finally meet you! = ¡Es un placer conocerla finalmente!
-I am told you're an artist, may I see some of your work? = Me dijeron que es artista. ¿Puedo ver alguno de sus trabajos?
-Is there anything I can help you with? = ¿La puedo ayudar en algo?
-Thank you for raising such a wonderful person...= Gracias por haber hecho de "John" una gran persona... (here you can have some other options....and better ones... ).

    Good luck!!

    Que bueno al fin conocernos!

I am told you're an artist, may I see some of your work?
Me contaron que usted es una artista, podría ver alguna de sus obras?

Is there anything I can help you with?
    En qué puedo ayudarla?

Thank you for raising such a wonderful person...
Hehe, are you sure you actually want to say that? I shouldn't be commenting this, since it's none of my business, but you brought it into public view. In Spanish it sounds a bit tooooo sweet....then again, maybe your mother in law is one of those mothers that are just too proud of their kid...suit yourself: "Gracias por educar una persona tan maravillosa"

    Good luck!
