    Default Runner or floater

To all of you basketball lovers out there...
How would you translate a "runner" or "floater" into Spanish?
    Thanks!!

    Default runner or floater

    algunas sugerencias:

runner: el jugador tiró corriendo, un tiro corredor

floater: tiró un flotador, un tiro flotador

Un tiro flotador? Mmmm sounds funny! Maybe because I don't know anything about basketball...

    What about "un tiro flotante"?

Can you give us the context where they have been used?
