Another option would be to repeat the word "muy":

"Tengo el cabello/pelo muy, muy largo"

Hi!!!...In Venezuela, we do not use "re" as an intensifier...I think "re demasiado largo" is wrong...it could be "re largo" but I believe it is only used in Argentina.

I would say that in Central America and other LatAm speaking countries "requetelargo" can definitely be an option if using informal language. If in need of something more formal, I'd rather use "extremadamente" as mentioned above.

Con ese "ya", siendo un adverbio de tiempo, es como si quisiera decir que ha llegado el tiempo de cortarse el pelo. No sé, pero algo así no me da la idea de la partícula reforzativa "re".
