Spoken in Colombia, in response to being accused of something...

It is unclear what this means to me. Can anyone help?

pero quédese cayado: it's a wrong sentence: cayado should be callado --> quiet
quédese is the imperative form of quedarse: remain, stay
so the full sentence translates as : but remain in silence --> keep quiet or be quiet


porque ahora no le falte: it's another wrong sentence. It could be: para que ahora no le falte or que ahora no le falte or no vaya a faltarle ahora or no le falte ahora.
I have chosen the last option. So:
faltar: to be rude to sbdy. So the sentence translates as: don't be rude now.

faltar can also mean: to be scarce or lack of sth. In this case we'd have other quite different meaning: now keep quiet in order not to be scarce (in need, lack...) which I don't know if it makes any sense at all.
