I just wanna know what "bobi" is ...

My girlfriend keeps calling me this. Btw she is from Canada too but father is from Colombia so the Spanish!!

Bobi? I guess she uses it as an alternative to "bobo", which actually means "dumb", BUT it can be used between lovers to express they love each other. It's like saying "I love you, silly thing".

Yes you can. This diminutive is the same for male and female. The word it comes from is not, "boba" is for her and "bobo" for him, but as I said it would not express love, as "bobi". You're welcome! Have a great day

yes, it comes from "bobo" (dumb) but it's actually a term of indearment :-)
it's not like your girlfriend is calling you dumb or anything!
