I understand what it means but I am not sure of its context. Is it rhetorical as in, this is the work of your life, or is it literal as in, What do you work as in life ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's a really really really informal context, such as msn or a text message. Is that possible?

Hi, Thank you for your thoughts on this. I was an e mail actually, so i was not expecting to find such colloquial types of abbreviations. Its funny the more I learn the more I also learn about the people I speak with.
