    How would you say esp."promotor," in english? the obvious promoter somehow doesn't seem to fit. it's in the context of NGOS etc.

    If you mean NGOs as non-governmental organizations, I might choose advocacy, support, development, or service depending on the purpose of the group. Promoter makes one think of entertainment.
