I'm trying to find the best translation for
IDONEIDAD

Here's the context
"las empresas ya están teniendo en cuenta la idoneidad de utilizar..."

I was thinking of using "aptness" because I don't like "suitability" or "aptitude" nor "capacity."

And while we're on the subject, where does the word come from? How else can it be used?

"Ideoidad" comes from "idóneo", therefore suitability would be the best choice in this case. Although in the context of the sentence "qualifications" would also work.
