Thread: instead of keep / keeping

en la siguiente frase que usariais keep / keeping:

Each time one add a wall or convection or support heating surfaces to a convection section in a branching, the selection is changed to the branching instead of keep in the convection section.

o seria mejor usar to remain?

The sentence is not correctly written in English, but it's definitely keeping.
