The verb is "to saturate". Commonly used as has been posted here. Communications can become so saturated with traffic as to cause failure. Clothing can become saturated (soaked) with water. A mind can become saturated (filled) with ideas and emotions. There are many applications referring to being full, overly filled or flooded. We have saturated fat (bad) in foods. "The bed was saturated with lice"; "the ground was saturated with water following the rain", et cetera, et cetera
