¿Cómo dirían ustedes en inglés la frase "normativa vigente asociada"?

Contexto:
"Después de obtener los antecedentes necesarios, se realiza una tabla comparativa, donde se establecen los factores principales ocurridos que han sido causas de riesgos y accidentes dentro de cada establecimiento, en relación a su normativa vigente asociada, dentro de la media escogida".

Mi intento:
"After obtaining the necessary background, a comparative table were made, where the main factors that have occurred have been causes of risks and accidents inside of each establishment are set in relation to its current associated regulations within the chosen medium”.

¿Qué piensan?

After acquiring the necessary background information, a comparison was made. The comparison established the main factors that have been the cause of risk and accidents (mishaps?) in each site always considering the prevalent norms and regulations associated to the chosen mean population.
