Hi, there!
How would you translate into English the very popular verb "ningunear"?
what does it mean "ningunear"?
ningunearDe ninguno.
1. tr. No hacer caso de alguien, no tomarlo en consideración.
2. tr. Menospreciar a alguien.
Quizas con "look down"?
Based on nabylm's definitions it sounds like it means "to hold in low regard" or be "contemptuous of".
Depending on the subleties of the context, some one word ideas: Disdain; ignore; snub; disrespect; disregard; despise; loathe
vicente
It's a popular word, and it's very much used in contexts of violence. "Ningunear" is a verb created from the noun "ninguno". A recent pun of words that is already included in the DRAE, which is quoted here by Nabylm. I think "disdain" would show this idea. Such a complete variety of options, Vicente!

We can also raise the bet with "to ignore with disdain"
Where does this term come from?
Hi all!
Undermind is the word I'm looking for!!! It's great, Agustinab! Just created like ningunear, another linguistic invention now included in the dictionary.
I also like to ignore with disdain because it makes explicit the ignoring aspect (essential).
Thank you all!!
