Traducir para ser

Hola, es la primera vez que entro aquí porque tengo una duda que no soy capaz de resolver y es literalmente imposible encontrar una respuesta en google. ¿Cómo se traduce "para ser"? Pero no en el sentido de "5 consejos para ser feliz", sino en el de "para ser humorista, no tienes sentido del humor". Y en concreto en plural, por ejemplo "para ser detectives, no sois muy observadores".
Se me ocurre con for, y en singular no me suena mal del todo añadiendo a, pero en plural me suena raro.
Gracias de antemano y por favor, ayuda!

I think the answer you are looking for is simply “to be”.
"5 consejos para ser feliz" can be translated as "5 Tips to be happy".
However, to me, as a native English speaker, it still lacks something. “5 ways to be happier” sounds slightly better to me, I’m not sure why.

And "Para ser humorista, no tienes sentido del humor" can be translated as " For a humourist, you have no sense of humour ", but again, that may appear rather too blunt for a native English speaker (in my opinion).
So, I might render it slightly more euphemistically: “For a humourist, you don’t (seem to) have much of a sense of humour:”

5 tips to be happy, or as acme_54 wrote, 5 ways to be happier; although it depends if you want the reader to be happier or to be happy.

I read the spanish in my english mind as ''5 tips to be happy''
