Do you have the original in English? because it does not make too much sense. This sounds as if the original English words were translated already, perhaps google (no offense)Anyway, I will do my best.

I need some time to calm down? think?....(I am) overwhelmed to make a decision, hurt by your feelings...
Hope it helps cause it would be nice to have the English words. This is like a puzzle, so maybe there will be other opinions.

    Another version:

I need some time to calm down. I´m worried to make a decision that may hurt your feelings.

    Good luck

I don't really mean to know about your friend's personal situation but maybe if you could offer more context, we could provide a good translation. Fernando and myself offered versions of what we thought but if we know a little bit what happened, it will be a piece of cake....

if you can't give details, don't worry, I'm sure there may be other versions.

hmm ok .. my friend A has just splitted with her bf B two months ago. The story is quite long. Lets just say A fell for someone else C and B found out so they broke up. B was very sad and he dedicated some spanish sentence to my friend A over the MSN captions. But B moved on and apparently he found someone new D and at the mean time, A slowly realized that she still loves B a lot and she confessed to B again in hoping to reconcile. But A got rejected and she got very upset. She's trying to let go of B when she saw this caption over his MSN. She's just trying to know what is B trying to say and whether if his captions is meant for her or the other girl, D ..

i hope this is clear enough .. thanks

Wow! I see why your friend needs an exact translation. To tell you the truth, it could be for either A or D (in case B is having problems with D)

So, B may be either asking time to A to think because his feelings are hurt and is afraid of making a wrong decision.
or B may be asking to D time to think cause he doesn't want to make a decision that hurts D's feelings. (this, is in the case B and D are having problems)

Gush, I wish I could be of more help...however I would definetely go for the first version.
