Hi!
If 12 corazones is the programe from Argentina, I'd say that the word "caprichoso" does NOT have a positive connotation. On the contrary, she might have ment they were demanding, fussy or picky.
You can also hear that a child is "caprichoso" meaning he/she is spoilt.
At least in Argentina, being "caprichoso" is not exactly a virtue!
Hope it helps
Hi,
My wife (from Mexico) uses the term quite a lot to indicte a person who is impulsive or eratic. The English cognate 'capricious' has a similar meaning.

Caprichosa/so means spoiled/whiner!!!! Hard headed is another possible translations. Why are you so caprichoso when it comes to doing your homework!!!
caprichoso means stubborn, a person who is very "his/her way". If he sets for something, then nothing is going to make him change his mind.

Clearly this word is loaded with emotion ranging from the relativly benign to the down right ugly. I suspect the context in the original question (12 Corazones) would keep the intended meaning in the more benign and teasing range.

Sorry you are very complicated for people who needs the meaning, correction or translation on line while they are speaking.Thank you very much . Ginger Spencer Lynch
