Tallo = stem in flowers. Rosas de tallo largo = Long stemmed roses.
Stem for verbs = raíz
In Spanish, verbs haven't got stems nor leaves, flowers or fruits BUT they have raíces (roots).
Don't worry it's the kind of hilarious mistakes we all make when learning a language and making too literal translations. ;)
