    Default nos suena la flauta

El valor comercial depende muchas veces de la música del azar (de que nos suene la flauta)

Can someone help me with an equivalent English expression for "nos suene la flauta". According to the Oxford Spanish, this means "if we get a bit of luck", which of course fits, but I was thinking of something a bit more poetic. "For whom the bell tolls" carries the idea of luck, but I think in a more fatalistic sense...maybe, "if we hit the jackpot" ....any ideas?

"For whom the bell tolls" quiere decir la muerte. Tal vez "if this is our lucky day" o "if fortune smiles on us". "We should be so lucky" es ironica o pesimista.
