    Default Spanish Slang? Pa'

Does any one know what Pa' means.

It is used in songs and while talking.

De acuerdo con Rogelio. Se trata de una contracción. Su uso en el lenguaje hablado es por simple costumbre (flojera, rapidez, facilidad). En ciertas canciones permite acomodar la métrica.

Yea all it is a contraction. When they talk they tend to leave out parts of the word like para el becomes pa'l o para que becomes pa'que

I agree, it's like the English "gonna" for going to, or "wanna" want to...it's quite common to do these while talking, although pa' is not used if you are writting.

    caliente caliente caliente caliente
    sonido listo pa la gente
    vamo' a bailá!

from Bomba Estéreo, ' HUEPAJÉ '

This is an example I came across. Might that line translate as:
"sounds and rythms ready for the people"?
Great song anway, if anyone cares to offer a translation I'd love to hear it!

Will you take a wild guess? I suspect we need somebody who can speak Parlache.

They say Columbia is charged up (that’s a guess)
It is life, it is sounds and rhythms ready for the people
Ready – let's get you in the mood to enjoy
Ready – let's get you in the mood to have fun
It catches the heat and is not going to let it go
And when it lets go (I can’t guess what pegar means here)
    Hot, hot, hot, hot
A sound ready for the people
    Let's dance

Great stuff, I'll try to build on yours taking some artistic license...

    It's said that Columbia's combative
It's life, it's sounds and rhythms right for the people
Right so we're going to get you to enjoy
Right so we're going to get you to hesitate* *(vacilar?)
Take it hot and don't let it go
And when it slips away you have to grab it
    ...

    Does Parlache mean slang?

That was a joke. I understand that Parlache is a language unto itself, but a Columbiano would have to clue us in.
