**edit: I added some more from my presentation that I would love help with if anyone is willing...it's a few posts below. Thanks
Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone could help me understand the following phrase:
“Eso no lo arregla ni el médico chino."
I am doing a presentation on the story "El médico chino" for my Spanish class and I want to be sure I understand it correctly since I am still a little confused by Spanish grammar.
I think it is saying "This doesn't fix (heal) it nor does the Chinese doctor." I am also thinking its use would be for something like... if there was an illness, for example, that could not be cured, someone would respond with this saying meaning that even el médico chino couldn't fix it so it must be incurable. I hope that made sense
Also, if anyone is familiar with this saying or anything else about el médico chino I'd love to hear what about it. I don't necessarily need to know it for my presentation but I'm kind of interested now.
Thanks!!
