    Default Facebook Mexicans

I need help translating what these people are saying, as the slang and poor spelling are sometimes too much for me. There are several, but they are short. Thank you a lot.

I stayed out of it because it’s nearly Greek to me. I’m just guessing. Guelaguezero? Sounds like someone having fun during a fiesta in Oaxaca. But I’m curious. Sounds like it was a wild party. So I’m only attempting a muddled translation in hopes it will goad someone into explaining it to the both of us. So, um, were you in Oaxaca a month ago?

Conchis Patiño : We’re making this known? No, well yes. What are you after in Puerto (Escondido?)?

Jenny: I remember that night as if it were two weeks ago, LOL, you talked to the girl selling gum in English. Oops.

patuz: I also remember that night. The guy with the gum sellers. The nit (louse)! And we had already been intímate.

Gaby: On with the red eyes, huh.

Aleejandra posted: Buddy! Hi there fellow guelaguezero. Even you were there? How are you? We even have pics. Greetings!

Gabriela: That Thomas! Let’s go party!

    Hi tomasito and gernt,

    I think that this
    aun estas poR aKaA!!!
    can be translated as
    You are still here!!!

    and
    jajaja aun tenemosss lass picsS!!
    as
    we still have the pics.

    que sigues en puerto??
what? you still in puerto? assuming puerto is the name of a place. If not it refers to harbor/port. In this case the guy should be a sailor or similar.

    q ya somos intimos jajajajjaa"
    because we are close already.

el de los chikles i la liendre!
I think liendre refers to a person. the gum guy and the nit guy (perhaps???) or the guy with the nit.

Thank you. I knew my take on it was wrong, and I was afraid to even post it because of the "nit". I suspected it might be derogatory for a person. I ran it by a Oaxaqueña, but she didn't have time to look at it closely.

Not completely, gernt. You gave it a try. Sometimes, it is kind of difficult to translate slang and even more when it has to do with posted comments or chat.
