I sent the present since April but the messenger company (post office) sent it back, they said Turkey was denying packages (parcels) from here because of the “swine flu” so I try to send it on August! but they send it back again I was frustrated… because I wanted you to receive on your BIRTHDAY then…I just realize the messenger company was a fraud because they didn’t have coverage in Turkey… so I claimed my money back and send the present from other company… that’s why you have just received your present... but it goes with all my affection.. I really hope you could receive it on time unfortunately all this happened

La ultima parte la modifique porque entendi que ya recibio el regalo, entonces no estas "esperando" que llegue, sino que esperabas que llegara a tiempo, pero no fue asi... Espero que haya quedado bien! Alguna otra opinion??
