    Default Note from a friend

Recently received a note from a very dear friend who happens to be Colombian. Note was mostly best wishes and in english. However the last three lines were Spanish. Don't want to misinterpret these words so I could use a little help. Second line is a "no brainer" even for me, it's the first and third lines I need help with. Thank you - in advance.

    Te quiero mucho,
    Mi gran amigo,
    Amigo de Verdad

    Default te quiero

"te quiero" can mean "I love you", though in this context it can also mean "You mean a great deal to me." I'd assume the latter. In junior high contexts it can mean "I like you." The rest says "my great friend, true friend".
