    I have this quote from a book to translate. I would appreciate help with the bit between the brackets, particularly "los meses del año" as it doesn't seem to make sense to me. Is there more meaning to "months of the year" or is it missing something?

    "...excluirlo detrás de una cortina de alturas y de muros, para hacerse la ilusion de que el mar no existe (que es una idea hecha metáfora en los meses del año) y que......"

    Any ideas please
