It was posted on Facebook by a person living in Spain.

In case I wasn't clear. Can someone translate this?

Mmm... I don't know if in Spain the word "molia" means anything, but in my opinion it's a typo mistake... I guess this person wanted to say "estoy molida", which means "I'm exhausted" or very, very tired...

Happy to help you, Spanish is my native language , molia is an slang and comes from the verb Moler, that means to smash. Then estoy molia, which by the way is written wrong because it should by molía with accent, means I am extremely tired, or I am destroyed depending on the context.

Yo estaba molia, this is a deformation of Yo estaba molida, and there the slang, meaning I was exhausted. This is because in oral Spanish, speaking fast some people do not pronounce "d" deforming the words, but we Spanish speakers understand it, the problem is for foreigns that sometimes get confused.

Thanks, I figured it was something like "I'm exhausted" ... the only translation I ever got from online translation tools were "I'm grinding"

Funny how that relates to life "being a grind" which makes it....exhausting!
