He married Juliana. She remained his wife all of her life.
Puede decir: She remained his wife during her entire life.
Y también:
They married and remained together all their lives.
He married her, and they remained true to each other their entire life.
She remained his wife for the rest of her life.
They were life-long mates.
They had eyes only for each other their whole lives.
They were inseparable their entire life.
There was never a couple more steadfast in their love.

Gernt has covered the bases very thoroughly and poetically, as usual! I just have this to add:Originally Posted by solfinker

Si el hombre murió primero: She remained his wife for the rest of his life. (She was his wife for the rest of his life.)
No diría "all his/her life" porque eso sería desde su nacimiento hasta su muerto.

mariaklec, you are literally too kind. I'll bet you're completely bilingual. I'm 1.5-lingual. But maybe tomorrow I'll be 1.6.
I like it! He married Juliana, later his life-long soul mate.Originally Posted by gernt
