Thread: morocha in Venezuela

I came across the term "morocha" in a document from Venezuela. The document is about appliances and a "morocha" is one of them. Do you know the English translation? Thanks!

I think "brunette" can be an option if we are talking about a person, as it is defined "a girl with brown hair (brown to very dark brown)"

I believe that's different according to the context. For example, I found that there are many washing machines with that word, like "Lavadora Morocha Whirlpool"

Perhaps with more context, it'll be easier to find out an equivalent for that word, if any...

Hi Andrea,

Like Sangaropo said morochas in Venezuela means twin girls, morochos would be twin boys. In this context they might be refering to a waher and dryer combined in one stacked unit. You can see pictures of them here:
