Hola Sol:
Here's my try... (note your translation lacks of the term "originales")
Original hand-coloured maps of the Kingdom of Valencia accompanied by a research of them
However, we don't have much context... thus this translation may vary

Iluminated (wikipedia): "an illuminated manuscript only refers to manuscripts decorated with gold or silver, but in both common usage and modern scholarship, the term is now used to refer to any decorated or illustrated manuscript from the Western traditions"
So, what about "Original hand-illuminated maps of the Kingdom of Valencia accompanied by a research of them"?
Hey there,
I don't think I get it, the Wikipedia quote refers to "manuscripts" and the sentence you wanted to have translated is about maps. Could you please clarify?
Cheers,
N.
Chart or manuscript, 'illuminate' means the same.
I give you another sentence that may help:
a map of the world and four portulan charts drawn on vellum with plenty of colors, illuminated in gold and silver and of gorgeous execution
