Hi I'm also new to the forum but I personally think it's a fantastic idea to spend time here if you're trying to learn Spanish! I teach English and Spanish on the telephone and I sometimes set my students translations to do, which we talk about in the next class. You could set yourself a translation and when you're stuck ask on the forum; you might even find an "intercambio" here...
