Thread: Hey I'm new and could use some help!

So first of all, I dont know how to start a thread.
Second of all, we need to make a childrens book with 12 sentences to practice using imprefect and preterite tenses. I was wondering if sombody could proofread my paper since my
teacher was out yesterday and it is still due Monday. Any help would be appriceated!

(Ignore that there arent any accent marks)

Habia una vez un tiburon travieso.
A los peces no les gustaban el tiburon.

El tiburon no le importaba.
Le gustaba molestar a lost peces.

A veces, el tiburon comia un pez.
Los peces estaban muy tristes.

Una dia, el tiburon que iba a comer un pez (the shark was going to eat a fish, not sure if i did this part correctly)
Pero el pez dijo algo (but the fish said somthing)

"Porque te gusta molestar a nosotros?" el pez le dijo. (I know i need an upsidedown question mark and exclamation point at the beginning of the sentences.
"Porque... No tengo amigos." el tiburon le contesto.

"Quieres ser mi amigo?" el pez le pregunto.
"Por supuesto!" el tiburon le contesto.

Did I use the verb tenses correctly? Thanks for your time!

In the 3rd line lost is meant to be los

Habia una vez un tiburon travieso.
A los peces no les gustaba el tiburon. [no "n" at the end of gustaba, because it was the tiburón that the fish did not like]

El tiburon no le importaba.
Le gustaba molestar a los peces. ["lost" typo changed to "los"]

A veces, el tiburon comia un pez.
Los peces estaban muy tristes.

Una dia, el tiburon iba a comer un pez ["que" was removed, "the shark was going to eat a fish" not the "shark that (que) was going to eat a fish"]
Pero el pez dijo algo (but the fish said somthing) [this is correct]

"Porque te gusta molestarnos?" [molestar a nosotros is unnecessary] el pez le dijo. (I know i need an upsidedown question mark and exclamation point at the beginning of the sentences.

"Porque... No tengo amigos." el tiburon le contestó.

"Quieres ser mi amigo?" el pez le preguntó.

"Por supuesto!" el tiburon le contestó.

[The verb tenses seem okay to me. Better find out what your Spanish teacher thinks, though.]

"Una dia" should be "Un día" because the word día is masculine.
