why "Izquierda"?

I am working as a Hotel Receptionist. I have a good level in German and I am trying to reach also a good one in English. I didn't know which name I should use so it came to my mind, Izquierda. In Spain the half of the population vote left political parties and the other half of the right. However, the name isn't so important. I have friends everywhere.
