Smile Spanish school IN BAYAMO CUBA

Can someone help me with finding out about how to get information about going to school in Bayamo to study spanish. I have some conversational knowledge, but as I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada, and not alot of spanish is spoken here. I would like to be able to communicate with friends in Cuba over the telephone. Thanks to all who respond..Yvonne

I can't tell you about a school in Bayamo for foreigners, as I believe there is only one school for foreigners (to learn Spanish), this is the International Havana School http://www.ishav.org/
You can visit the web site to get information.
If there is anything else I can do for you, please send me a private message.

    Default Hello Sandra

Thank you for sending the site info. It looks like it is a primary school for children and I could not obtain infor for an adult.

Sorry about that. I have found out abut the other international school that teaches Spanish for foreigners and they have different courses (a week, two weeks, etc).
the website is www.sprachcaffe.com and I have asked for an email for you to contact them and get more information as I believe the web site does not offer much.

Good luck with your Spanish and please, let me know how it goes...

I have heard good things about the University of Havana's Spanish Imersion Program. A friend of mine went there a couple of years ago and felt it was well worth the money because they offered classes in Spanish and Cuban culture as well as the language classes. Here is a link if you wish to consider this program.
