Hello, I'm Vicente. I just discovered this site and I think it's great. I studied Spanish a long time ago and I speak it with friends in Mexico and Central America. I know I still have a lot to learn and every day I try to learn something new. I wish to speak proper Spanish. When I commit an error here on the site I will appreciate any help and suggestions. I'm sorry I don't have a Spanish keyboard and I cannot write with accents.

Welcome, Vicente! As an Editor at heart, I have corrected your mistakes in red --but just for you to see how few and minor they were! In fact your Spanish is very good. Keep it up! I admire your humble attitude to welcome corrections. We'll all help, I'm sure.

CarlosRoberto, thank you for the compliment on my Spanish. Believe me, I am not being all that modest...just truthful. I know I have a long way to go and I look forward to improving my abilities here in these forums. I'm sure I sound a little too eager but I feel like I just discovered an educational gold mine. I am very impressed with the number and competence levels of the Spanish/English speakers such as yourself and others I have already posted with. This appears to be a great place to enhance my Spanish and learn from professional level speakers.
