I suppose he said: gorda estúpida (stupid fatty

If I were you, and hopefully he is not thin himself, I would answer back:

    ....dijo la sartén al cazo...

this is very colloquial for: look who is talking!!!

Tell us what you would like to say and we will help you with an appropriate translation.

    this was funny exx!!
Yes, that would be a good response or simply
Mira quien habla which is exactly the same exx said but plain and simple.

Vaya a bañarse could be a good one too. Go take a bath would be a literal translation but you're really sending the guy to F... off but not using foul language.
Realmente, el destino del mundo depende, en primer lugar, de los estadistas y, en segundo lugar, de los intérpretes.

    Totally agree with Sandra!
Look who's talking (mira quien habla) is easy and right back at 'em!
You can also reply with "dijo la burra (el burro if a man)", which would be basically calling them a donkey/ass. Hahaha! This is something you can say after another comment after you have already said mira quien habla.
    Good luck!
