    Default Hello from São Paulo, Brazil

    Hello dear translation and interpreting colleagues, I just joined this group as it was broadcast in the trad-port list for Portuguese translation.
    I've lived in São Paulo since 2002 (temporary work assignment for my husband), my home base is New Jersey, and I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia.
    I entered the translation and interpreting area in 1993 after my first daughter was born. I was looking for more freedom of schedule that would enable me to stay home with the kids and this field enabled me to do so.

    I'm looking forward to a positive exchange here in this list. Other lists in which I participate are also very supportive, and I hope to be able to contribute here as well.
