Hi Everybody
I'm not exactly a translator, though sometimes I make some good money doing it. I'm an English Teacher. Everybody calls me Loops. I joined this group because sometimes I have problems with the translation of common american expressions and I hope you can help me. I love reading books most of the times in English. I love music. I'm 55. I love meeting people.I play the key-board and the guitar and of course I sing and I am Mexican. Love

Hello everybody!
My name is Erica, I'm from Mar del Plata, Argentina but I'm currently living in North Carolina, USA. I'm an English teacher and I'm also studying to become a translator. Hope to learn from you all and help whenever I can.
¡Saludos!
First of all, thanks to all who make this forum possible. I was raised in a bilingual household but once I moved out into the world and started working all I have spoken pretty much has been English. As such my Spanish has suffered greatly and I have lost a lot of my vocabulary. Thanks for helping me regain some of that and rediscover my native language.
