I had an InDesign file the other day in English and it is going to be translated into Punjabi. Can you recommend a font for Punjabi that works in InDesign, Memsource and PDF without compatibility, reading or incrustation problems?

I haven´t tested in Indesign but some Punjabi fonts are:
Asees, Joy, Amr Lipi, Anmol Lipi, Gurbani Akhar, Gurmukhi, Sukhmani
Some of them have no variations while others come in Regular, Bold etc.
You can then choose the one that fits better with the original layout.
Thank you, Santiago. There are more options that I thought. I guess some of those fonts can be used in other languages, right?
Hi Daniel,
I'm not sure, but I guess Punjabi fonts can´t be used in other languages. In India, Punjabi is written in Gurmukhī, a standardized script. I guess no other languages uses it.
No, it's used only for Punjabi. I was wondering because the Gurmukhī shares its roots with other scripts and the family fonts may take that into consideration.
