Hi People,
how would you translate the word "enclosure" into Spanish for Latin America?
My client suggested "Estructura" and I used "carcasa" but something is wrong with both terms...
Thank you

I understood "enclosure" as something that comes within an envelope, like a letter, could you give further context?
Hi Veronica,
Yes, sorry about the lack of context. I was translating a brochure for an Apple system, a whole system for servers.
In this case, "enclosure" refers to the outside metal box that covers all the equipment. Is the case of the PC.
thank you
I would say la cubierta as it is the outside structure.
yo diría:
armazón o revestimiento externo o directamente
caja protectora externa, o armazón externo que cubre .....
(a veces se puede encontrar una mejor manera de definirlo parafraseando)
"La caja" is the most simple but I like "La cáscara" for your application! But you may well be starting a new colloquialism!!!!
