I guess i'm just going to reply to myself... I just delivered an XML project, and I confirm, it doesnt corrupt the file. It applies to HTMLs as well.

As someone from IT, I can safely say it should not corrupt the file, if done properly of course.
@agustinab care to share some specifics about the xml project, like:
- how big is the project?
- how many parts did you split it in?
- did you use Memsource tool to split it?

You're right, it didn't!
It was a 5,000 word file and I split it into 3 parts with Memsource tool.
=)

I do. About 30K words, split into 6 sub parts. I had zero problem back then
