Hi,
I'm handling a project into "Burmese-Kachin dialect"...
1/ Are they two different languages, or is "Kachin" just a variation of the Burmese root?
2/ In Memsource, should I set the project under "Burmese" for the target language?
Thank you!

Hi,
Memsource only supports Burmese as one language.
I do not know anything about Kachin, but if it uses the same alphabet, I suggest you set your project for Burmese as the target language.
Hi,
Thank you very muchfor your help! I know the Burmese script is used for such dialect (Kachin, or Jingpho). After comparing both alphabet, the symbols look very close and have the same "style". I will go ahead and set it as Burmese. After the translation, I will have the file checked outside memsource by a native, to make sure the memsource settings didn't affect the translation.
Myanmar has over 100 ethnic groups (Kachin being one of them), and of course, I could not expect memsource to have them all in their settings.
