Hi, I opened my Indesign file and spotted the missing links with their names, but there is no "save as". Can you help?
Thanks!
I think you can save it in a .txt file, containing the names of the links, and number of times they appear in the file. Is that right?
Hi Nabyl.
in link panel you can copy the info of the links in the file. You can find a "copy Info" buton. That's all. Easy and fast!
Just found it!
You have to open the Link tab>Look for the missing one> select them (all, using the ctrl key)> Right clik> Copy info. You can then paste it in a Word or txt file. It shows you the name of the missing link, number of occurrencies and pages where they show up.
Thanks a lot Mr DG!
You have another option I guess is even better.
You open the Preflight panel, then click in the top right corner option, and then click in "Save Report". It gives you a detailed PDF report of every issue you have in the document.
Can you take a quick screenshot of that "preflight" panel...I somehow can't find it...I'd like to try your technique
Thanks!
