    It sure is. Congrats to Costa Rica coming out 1st in one of the hardest groups. Uruguay to take on Colombia next.

    Right now I'm pulling for los ticos and USA. Unlikely, but quien sabe. So far the big boys haven't looked all that good.

    Everything has changed and this world cup has proved it. It seems that there's no more small teams, can't underestimate any selection team anymore. Ghana tied Germany, Argentina scored on Iran in overtime to win the game, etc. Anything can happen.

     The entire population of CR is about that of metropolitan Phoenix. (4.5 Million)

    USA moves on thanks to Ghana's loss. Both my teams are advancing.

    I´m hoping that USA takes out Belgium and that Argentina takes out Switzerland. Then I get to see my two teams go head to head. USA vs Argentina!

    ayyy Chihuahua hombre!!!...then who would you root for?

    I'd have a serious problem if it ended up Costa Rica-USA. I'm the only USA fan in the family but I love Costa Rica too.

    In a USA-Argentina match I'd have to go USA but I'd hate to see my Argentine friends disappointed. The USA can live with a loss because fútbol is not that big in the U.S. yet. But Argentina?? There might be an upheaval of epic proportions. The team might not be able to return home!!

    Soccer fans are a wild bunch. I remember in 2006 when Costa Rica lost and a crowd met them at the airport when they came home. They were ready to lynch the team. The coach quit and immediately left the country.

    You haven't seen Belgium play for real yet.
    This first round was just a warming-up (nevertheless 9 points out of 9).

    I do love the USA and Vicente and everything
    but I hope that Belgium "takes out" the USA
    and I am convinced they will !

    Most importantly, let's hope it's a fair and good game!
