    Default Rosario

    Hi guys,
I wanted some quick advice. I live in Buenos Aires and I am thinking of going to Rosario for the long weekend. Any advice on where to stay or what to do?
Also, if you think somewhere else may be fun that is fairly close to the capital, let me know.
    Thanks!

    Hi Emily,
You should visit the Flag monument and the Florida walking area.
Then let us know how you liked it

    Hi!!

I have a very complete booklet by YPF. It has the motorways, the main restaurants, hotels and places to visit.

I strongly recommend you to read it!!

    Thanks!!

I went to a place called, I believe, San Antonio de Arcleto. It's maybe 90-120 minutes out of BA. A friend had assured me it was paradise on earth for anyone interested in arts and crafts. I found it boring. And hot. Yes, there were some shops, but nearly as many as I had been led to believe. And the food wasn't all that great. I did, however, meet some really nice people.

It's a long haul, but try Mendoza. Great sidewalk restaurants. Lots of things to do and see. I understand that "Seven Years in Tibet" was filmed nearby.

We have every kind of landscapes and people. In that movie, much of Tibet was the Andes and many Tibetans were "cuyanos" (people from Mendoza, San Juan and San Luis). Vienna's train station was in La Plata (Buenos Aires), and all the Austrian in it were "platenses" and "porteños".
