This is no news, but one of the few good rock n' roll bands the XXI century gave us has split up... any thoughts on what they left behind?

that is sad news Gabriel! we have lost another great one....
Hi Gabriel,
My husband saw them Live at Quilmes Rock Festival a couple of months ago and I remember he told me the bass player's performance was pretty sad, and that the overall feeling between band members onstage was tense. He (my husband) predicted they were gonna split up - mind you, he's a musician himself so he knows what's he's talking about! hehe!

Victoria,
I didn't know that! I know Chris Cornell can be difficult at times, but I don't think the rest are precisely easy-going either.
I guess that's the way it goes for some bands (Faith no More, Guns n' Roses). It's better for them to split up before giving a pitiful show (like so many do these days).
Thanks for the observation V.!
I always liked Rage Against the Machine more than Audioslave, but Audioslave were good too.
Tom Morello has an acoustic project known as The Nightwatchman. He has some good stuff, especially "One Man Revolution."
Who knows what Chris Cornell's going to do. Soundgarden reunion?
Justin,
Well, I heard Rage against the machine were going to get together again for some concert I honestly don't know where.
Regarding Chris Cornell, he released a new record called Carry on which I really liked. You can tell the Morello bug got him when you listen to some of the guitars he uses for some tracks. I think his biggest hit was the song he made for the last 007 movie. His version of Billie Jean is also something interesting to listen.
I don't think Soundgarden are coming back. The drummer is playing with Pearl Jam and has been doing so for quite some time now.
