me dicen que "300" es buena.
hey sabrina,
i have heard that "number 23" is good, scary but a good one. It might also be nice to see jim carey not doing comedy, im going to see it for sure.
this weekend i saw "sons of men" which was very creepy, but good. its about the world in the future and how all the women are infertile and deals a lot with the issue of illegal immigration. i rented this one and would recommend it.
happy movie viewing!
"300"... mmmh... cuando me enteré de la historia de la batalla de Termópilas no pude esperar a leer a Herodoto para conocer bien la historia. Es increíble: en la película introducen "elementos interesantes" de fantasía y los momentos cumbre no me hicieron sentir nada. Supongo que tenemos una idea diferente de heroísmo con el director. Igual que en "Troya", me habría gustado ver un poco más de elemento griego. ---Valga la salvedad: 300 no pretende ser una película histórica.
if you're into musicals i'd recommend hairspray
me too sabrina, it´s ages since I last went to the movies...
´300´... you just see it if you´re a Hollywood fan...otherwise, forget it!!!
My family and I have been catching up on movies lately by watching DVDs on the weekends. We have viewed lots but the one's that stood most have been:
Here Comes The Boom (Kevin James is a teacher who becomes a UFC fighters to save the music department)
The Avengers (The Title says it all...)
Twilight Breaking Dawn (The final installment)
We also watched Scary Movie, Pain & Gain, Snitch, The Big Wedding, Dark Shadows, GI Joe and some other ones. LOL it's quite alot. All worth seeing in case anyone hasn't yet.
I've been wanting to go to the movies as well, actually go and sit down at a theater and watch some action or scary movie. Because I have kids, our typical movie when we go to the theaters is usually cartoons. The last movie I saw in the theaters was Despicable Me 2, it was great. I loved it and so did the kids. There are a few scary movies that I've been wanting to see but we never seem to find the time to go. I have a lot of catching up on movies myself to do. One of the movies that is out in theaters now that I want to see is We're the Millers. I heard it's really good.
kvillanueva did you get a chance to see We're the Millers? How was it?
Unfortunately I have not been able to go see Meet the Millers, I did however go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. LOL! It was better than expected and the kids loved it. Hopefully this week I will be able to have an adult movie night, even though chances are we will rent a movie because there are a lot of movies out now that I haven't seen and want to see. Also it is a lot cheaper too!!
